[class="sqq"]?To me, there are three things we all should do every day. We should do this every day of our lives. Number one is laugh. You should laugh every day. Number two is think. You should spend some time in thought. And number three is, you should have your emotions moved to tears, could be happiness or joy. But think about it. If you laugh, you think, and you cry, that's a full day. That's a heck of a day. You do that seven days a week, you're going to have something special.?

My eyes get a little misty whenever I watch that OTL/Sportscenter piece about that kid who only weighed 80 pounds or something and he got a hit in a baseball game while wearing a flak jacket. He just passed away this summer too.

Brett Favre's retirement press conference definately got me crying. That man is a god to me, and watching the toughest man in the world lose it made me lose it. I was holding up pretty good until he started crying.

I also shed some tears right after the NFC championship game. It was like destiny was shattered with that game-ending field goal.

The moment that always gets me is in Rudy when he gets the sack on the last play. That combined with the awesome music playing is very special. I don't care if you hate Notre Dame, that is a damn good movie.

The end of both Armagedden and LOTR:The Return of the King always stir up some emotions. The last time I remember my eyes getting kind of misty (not crying) was watching the Olympic closing credits. If anyone saw them, they'll know what I'm talking about. NBC should win some award for that.

Seeing certain Olympic clips always make me get emotional...and they are the only sporting clips I get emotional at...there's just a certain charm about the Olympics that makes emotion resonate within me.

For me, I think it's just a whole combination of things. When the Olympics end, it's almost like the end of an era in a way; something came and went that only you can say you experienced and it's a once in a lifetime thing. Then there's all the back stories from all the countries to all the athletes that trained 4 years just to get there and now it's over. I've watched the closing credits for this year's olympics so many times I've probably memorized each scene in the montage. If no one has seen it, they've blocked all of the places to watch it online and the NBC.com version is different so I guess it's SOL for you unless you do find a place that hasn't yet blocked it.

Jimmy V at the Espys when he did his speech while battling cancer...I cried listening to him say "Cancer can take away all my physical abilities. It cannot touch my mind, it cannot touch my heart and it cannot touch my soul. And those three things are going to carry on forever."

Brings tears to my eyes during that speech!

He was pretty heartfelt and truthful in the press conference as well.

After I read about the 3rd kid, I couldnt read anymore. I was crying too hard. That reminded me too much of my time in High School.
