Post-Week 4 Notes:
-No thanks to a 19-0 defeat at the hands of Hilbert, Cedar Grove-Belgium saw their conference winning streak, which stretched back to early 2016, snapped at 25 games.
-Oconomowoc put a hurting on Waukesha South, 55-21, to rid themselves of a 20-game overall and an 18-game conference losing streak.
-Washburn/Bayfield/South Shore won their first 8-man game, a 22-18 affair with Winter/Birchwood, snapping their 20-game overall and 13-game conference losing streak which began with 11-man forfeits in the 2017 season, as well as two 8-man losses that season.
-Monona Grove has sputtered out of the gate this year, and a consequence of that is the loss of their 19-game Badger-South winning streak after a 27-20 defeat to Milton.
-I’ll avoid making any Chip Diller references, but New Berlin Eisenhower deservedly lost their 19-game Woodland winning streak this week to rival New Berlin West, 17-16, in OT.
-Prescott broke a 17-game overall and 13-game conference losing streak in style, putting a running clock on Amery, 35-0.
-Catholic Memorial inexplicably lost to a struggling Kettle Moraine team, 13-11, and thus their 13-game overall winning streak ceased to be.
-Muskego and Northwestern won their 12th straight conference games, while Clintonville, Milwaukee North, Racine Park, Waupun and Westfield all lost their 12th straight league matchup.
