Being in sales is tough. Just when you think your day of rejections is over you end up going home to your wife for a couple more rounds.

Sure was an exciting finish in the Mayville-Ripon game. After not being able to stop Ripon's run game all night, Mayville stuffed the Tigers on 4th and 2 on the Mayville seven yard line with just over two minutes left. After reaching their own 30 yard line or so, the Cardinals tried a WR pass, but the pass was picked off at midfield with exactly a minute left. Ripon took over and scored in four plays, all big runs. After missing the extra point, Mayville got decent field position on a squib kick, and moved the ball (with the help of a pass interference penalty) to the Ripon 34 with ten seconds left off. However, Mike Gionet's desperation pass was picked off near the goal line to seal the win for Ripon.

As a diehard fan of the Cardinals, this was a heartbreaking loss. Both teams battled incredibly hard, and Mayville had their chances, but came up a bit short in the end. It was, however, another great chapter to the storied rivalry between Mayville and Ripon. I don't know what it is, but it seems like every time, and I mean every time, these two teams meet it is always a classic, and tonight was no different.

I just heard from a good source....

KML - 28
B/J - 0

Congrats Chargers...

Any other scores?

Roy

KML dominated from the start. They had 2 starters on D back who missed the Laconia game due to injury and illness. They also started Koth at saftey. Koth delivered some "Chuck Cecil" like hits.
The story of the game was the KML defense. Just awesome. Every player on the D made big plays and big hits.
KML offense was very good also. It was 21-0 at half. Overall KML's best game of the year.
