What an idiotic move on his part, I mean if you were going to drink do it somewhere small where there aren't many kids and not a lot of commotion, but obviously he is totally mindless when it comes to that as are a lot of kids at LC. What a big mistake and a big hurt for the LC basketball program.
Give me liberty or give me death.

Wow packsports thank you for that insightful information and stating what everybody knows. Do you think this post would have been created if LC wasnt going to be affected by adams!

As far as I'm concerned the penalty at any school should be loss of the entire season. You sign an agreement that indicates that you will abide to certain conditions; if you break it you are gone. These clowns are also breaking the law. Too damn bad for them if they are too stupid to refrain from alcohol and tabacco. The world needs ditch-diggers too.

I agree. If a kid signs an athletic code, that should be the only warning necessary--he/she knows exactly what that signature means! If a kid has so little pride in his or her name, he doesn't deserve to be playing in the sport.

too stupid to get caught you mean. and yea, people break laws but are the laws really justifable? i mean, the drinking age was 18 in wisconsin until the government and a bunch of angry parents were gonna pull federal funding from wisconsin for roads and other projects.

dont hate the playa, hate the game

That may be the dumbest excuse I have ever heard. What this tells me is that the parenting abilities are totally lacking. My son knew that the penalties that I would have imposed had he elected to participate in this kind of behavior would have been far worse than anything mandated by the school. You either raise good kids or you don't. Drinking in high school is not a mistake, it is a choice that one makes. It is also, however, a great opportunity to allow a person to learn one of life's greatest lessons - when you make a choice you have to live with the consequences. In ALL cases the athletes know what the penalties are before they make that choice.

Oh, and by the way, the reason that the drinking age was raised had more to do with the research and the statistics that are available about drinking in the 18-21 age group. You can see that this is a problem by the number of people around Wisconsin who have been nailed multiple times for OWI. They start early and the penalties are not stiff enough I say on the second one we shoot them and save the taxpayers some money.

Kenny ur a dumb ass i guarante that ur kid drinks before hes 21 years old if he hasnt already or if u give me his name i will have him drinking in a week. an entire season get real. Even Woody Paige would call u a dumb ass

That's real impressive. See, that is where you are missing the point. It isn't about not drinking until 21; it's about signing your name to a document where you take an oath that you will behave in a particular manner. It is obvious that your word means nothing because you have no integrity. Calling me names doesn't bother me; if it did I would make arrangements to beat some manners into you. Your spelling and grammar is impressive by the way. You obviously pay close attention in english class.
