We better get Hakim Warrick or Sean May and if we don't, I'm going to go postal up in here.

Mitch Kupchak is officially the worst GM in sports history. Pass on May, pass on Warrick, pass on Granger, heck pass on Taft even and take some kid that is 17 years old and sounds like he has the IQ of a Happy Meal toy. What are we doing.

Yeah right at this pace with the terrible decision making of Kupchak, Mihm will be the man in the middle for us for the next 10 years until Kupchak gets knocked off by the Crips and we get a GM with a brain.

Yes finally an acquisition that makes some remote sense. Turiaf, a snaggle-toothed 6'9" 240 pound banger with some blue collar appeal to him, a man who is not afraid to curl up his nose and get into the mix. The opposite of some pretty boys on the team like Odom and Mihm, I like the pick.

I have to wait and see on this Von Wafer character though. I remember watching him play a couple times last year vaugly. Decent mid-range shooter if I remember correctly, but a really good three-point shooter. I see he averaged just under 13 PPG in the ACC last year, not a bad pick but I wish maybe we would've went after somebody big with some athletecism like Chris Taft to follow up on the Turiaf pick. That would've been two big steals to make up for the Bynum blunder, to get 6'9" 240 Turiaf and 6'10" 245 Taft in the second round.

The pressure is on Kobe and the Lakers to win NOW. With our acquisitions last night, we did not meet that objective. Bynum was a worthless wasted pick compared to what we could've have, Turiaf will have to wait his turn most likely, and Von Wafer is no guarantee either.

Bynum may be young, and not be able to step in and start, but he can play, and will end up to be a good pro. He works his tail off, and has a great attitude.

Well Sean May would be more imposing and scary as a center than 7'1" Chris Mihm. Have you ever seen Mihm? His buzzed head and bushy eyebrows are the stupidest thing I've ever seen. He is short bus material.

Over at ESPN.com on their NBA page, they have an ESPY poll about who had the best draft this year. The five choices were the Bucks, three other teams, and then the Lakers. How do they figure we had a good draft? I can't remember the other three teams because once I voted, it said "thanks for voting, watch the ESPYs to find out the results" or something and the choices never came back up.
