inside word is that jerry smith is considering a transfer to UW because of troubling relations with the lousiville team and program....added impact youth to this team and they wouldnt lose a beat on the national scene

And how credible of a source is this inside word?

If hope its true, Bohannon, Hughes, and Smith would be a nice backcourt to have.

I have heard this rumor but how much room does UW have? I am guessing one maybe b/c of the Micky Perry transfer.
http://chuckcorner.blogspot.com- Please Comment, I finally am starting to work on this on a consistant basis. Would love to hear your thoughts.

does anyone know where Mickey Perry went to? I do wish he would have stayed with Wisconsin and i wish they would have red-shirted him.

He's a walk on from Nicolet High School so he's not what you call "wasting" a scholarship. This is about the 5th time I've heard he's transferring back so I don't mean to doubt you, but it seems like he's doing fine in Lousville right now.

And Mickey redshirted last year....

I highly doubt Jerry will be coming back to Madison. Look at how much fun he was having in their overtime game vs. West Virginia the other night. Over the last few weeks when I have seen Louisville on TV, Jerry always seems happy and encouraging his teammates. I highly doubt he goes anywhere.

Yeah, I've noticed that also. He's playing over half the game, and has been in the game during crunch time (which is a pretty big situation for a guy Jerry's age). I've heard rumors, but they haven't been heard for awhile. My guess is he stays down in Louisville.

Maybe we can get rid of Gavinsky too...do we really need unathletic big men who don't even play down low? We need more Tucker/Landry type players who can shoot, drive, etc. Imagine 5 of them in the swing. Plus Landry can play defense on 6'10"+ guys...

Joe Krabbenhoft is only a sophomore.

Jarmusz will be taking one of those freed scholarships too right?

I hope he transfers to Wisconsin. I have heard a lot about this in the past but it has died down a little now I think because they are now winning a lot. Wisconsin could use him too.

All three 2007 scholly's have been used. Nankivil, Jarmusz, and Leuer. We have one available because of Perry.
