Just wondering why the UW Staff didn't offer this guy. I know some of you claim to be "insiders," so do any of you know anything about this? Being a First Team All-State DB as Junior while running a reported 4.39 40 seems like that would garner a scholarship. But then again, he seems like a tough kid, so he obviously wouldn't fit Bielema's system.

Where have you seen a 4.39 40 reported?? I haven't seen that anywhere.

Search a little harder on Google... It was pretty much one of the first articles that came up for me:

In essence, a widget of the article states that coaches have reportedly clocked Wells running a 4.39 40.

i could've swore that he made all state as a Junior, oh well. I still think they made a mistake, but that's nothing new

Where have you seen a 4.39 40 reported? I haven't seen that anywhere. Plus Jayme made it clear early that he was going to play baseball in college. Although I guess if he had received a UW offer that may have changed things. Also, he was first team all-state as a senior. He didn't receive any all-state recognition as a junior.
