Anyone notice Jamie Braun, former Marshfield standout, lead Indiana in scoring during one of their preseason exhibition games? That's pretty impressive. I plan to keep a close eye on her D1 play. I don't think you see this too often from a freshmen.

In the first two exhibitions games Jamie Braun now playing with the Indiana Hoosiers of the Big Ten as a true freshmen (Marshfield High School - Marshfield, WI) scored 12 and 14 points respectively. Led the team in scoring with the 14 points. They won both exhibition games easily.

In the first game of the season against Wake Forest in a tournament in Lexington, KY (Women's Sports Foundation Classic at the University of Kentucky Memorial Coliseum on Friday night. Jamie scored 10 points and played 24 minutes. They now play Sunday against the winner of Washington State/Kentucky game. Inidana is now 1-0. They won 75-53.

Jamie has played at least 22 minutes each in all three games. They have 11 on roster and she is #23.

Opening practice night hysteria there 14000 that paid $2 to see the women and mens team practice and be involved in some competition a few weeks ago. Jamie Braun took second in the womens three point contest. I believe she hit 8 then 9 then 12 three pointers.
