I can safely say that I don't feel a bit sorry for the man. He could have still been playing but he didn't want to come off the bench.

About time the NBA was able to rid itself of this worm. This guy STILL doesn't get it, never has, and is so totally clueless about what it means to make the necessary sacrifices to win. He says he doesn't feel comfortable compromising his game and what has made HIM successful in his career. Well, he has won 4 scoring titles and chucked up 27.0 PPG at a blistering 41%, but what have his TEAMS accomplished? You would think this past summer would've been a big wakeup call for him to realize teams aren't going to put up with his attitude any longer, and you would've thought he would've had the maturity to go into Memphis like a veteran and pro and show the young guys the right way to do it. Nope, Mr. "gotta get mine" only cares about himself. It makes me sick to my stomach to hear these wannabe journalists like Stephen A. Smith sing this clowns praises for being a "misunderstood warrior" and all that garbage. Iverson is the guy that was the leadhorse in the downward spiral of the NBA there for a few years.

LMAO, what a tool. I knew he was going to come back at some point but 1 day after his "dramatic exit"? Good one, media whore.

Hmm, has met with the 76ers.

And the general manager has the same last name as me!

I might, actually, kind of, sort like the lineup of Jrue Holliday, Iverson, Iguodala, Thad Young, Elton Brand. Holliday, regardless of his offensive woes is an excellent defensive player and him and Iggy can pick up the slack on Iverson's poor defense. Iverson can still score, that's for sure. The issue will be when Louis Williams comes back, then what?

Meh, i'd say forget it, if I were the 76ers. Louis Williams can be a stud in this league, don't stunt his growth reliving on the past by signing Iverson.
