Other than the situation with Iola-Scandinavia's QB, I haven't heard of any.

Heard that Kimberly projected week 1 starting QB Jackson Rottier tore his ACL in practice. Haven't heard anything confirmed but heard it from a few people. I believe there's a Sophomore QB that maybe could be the starter now. QB play has always been stellar for Kimberly. Schreiber, Weyenberg, Vanden Boom, Rosner, and Staerkel were all elite QB's and huge reasons for success. Guess we'll see Friday how things turn out for the Papermakers.

Mark Miller reported that Marshfield's Isaac Meverden tore his ACL in practice.

Obviously hurts Marshfield more on the hardwood, but still you never like to see guys getting hurt and losing an entire year of athletics.

Saw this last night.  Not sure if it's injury related or due to other factors.

Fond du Lac senior linebacker Hunter Hansen, last years VFA-South Defensive Player of the Year, did not choose to go out for football this fall and is not part of the team. #wisfb

Rottier was one of the favorites yes but not the favorite. The only advantage he had was being a senior. Kimberly has two Junior QB's on the roster and a sophomore in Caden Pendleton. Pendleton was the front runner heading into the scrimmage against West De Pere but Rottier outplayed him during that game. I expect both Juniors and Pendleton to battle it out this week and possible use QB by committee first two weeks leading into FONDY

Waunakee's Will Ross, the team's leading rusher last year, suffered an injury during summer baseball and will be out for a while, possibly the year.

Union Grove's Mickey Rewolinski, an OL with some scholarship offers, broke his tibia in two spots on the first play of the season.

Ethan Post, the senior quarterback at Mount Horeb went down with a fracture in the top of his humerus bone and will be out 8-12 weeks, though for all intents and purposes, his season is done and MHB loses a 2500 yard passer.

Milwaukee Riverside DB Amaun Williams, a Wisconsin preferred walk-on commit, is playing with a club on his left hand.

Didn't stop him from picking up a first down on a fake punt tonight however.
