As I was watching Brett Hartman handle the kick off duties for CMU last week on ESPN (CMU beat Ohio for the MAC title), I was wondering how others from the GMC fared their first year in college.

For the Falls graduates:

Besides Hartman who kicked off for Central Michigan, there was Chris Bigley who was red shirted for North Dakota State.

Kyle Lutz handled the long snapping for UW-O all year. Ben Arata, took over as starter at safety for UW-RF for the last five games of the season. Ryan Gorecki had some early success for UW-W, then hurt a hammie and missed some playing opportunities. Dean Stathus had some limited playing time at UW-L, but may get a shot at linebacker next year since they are pretty deep at center.
