Not sure about the rest of the conference...but the teams coming from the SLC East Troy Jefferson and Whitewater...East Troy imo lost a lot. They'll be down. Jefferson will be alright. Whitewater could be good. East Troy's top returners are F Cody Condon and G Dan Douglas. Jefferson's top returners are G Trevor Probst and F Bryan Poredos. Whitewater's top returners are G Tony Bilderbeck and F Miles Hookstead. Hookstead is a very skilled player who will compete for conference POY

what do you mean by east troy will be down? as in they wont go 23-1 in conference like they did the last two years? or they will be garbage in the streets down?

in between that. I'm saying they're not going to be nearly as good as last year, not garbage either but more around .500 so from what they've been the last 3 years, down.

North:

Edgerton, Evansville and Whitewater will be the 3 top runners for the conference title. Evansville has a good program going and with keister, they will be tough. Edgerton has the player that can determine the outcome of any game and that is Gregory. If you focus to much on him tho, the other kids will hurt you. Edgerton will be a team to beat. Whitewater has the athletes and talent to be a good team and contend for the title when they put it all together. Hookstead is the most experienced player on the team and has the potential to be a dominate force when his head is in the game for the full 32 minutes. The other teams (Jefferson, East Troy and McFarland) have the change and players to make the whole conference race very exciting. Should be fun to watch this winter.

South:

Parkview and Big Foot for the title. Big Foot is very physical and has the shooters to put points on the board. Parkview has 2 of the best players in the South in Melton and Mumms but will need help out of the rest of the team. We will see how the other teams (Palmyra, Brodhead, Turner, Clinton) will fair. Dont know much about those schools. Look for Parkview and Big Foot to duke it out for the title in the south.

Boys start practice on Monday, I'll admit I'm excited for the start of games. Jefferson scrimmages next saturday @ Waukesha South (opening day of deer hunting) not a big fan of teams doing that however sometimes its tough. But they open up the regular season Dec. 1st @ Fort Atkinson...can't wait for that one!

Yeah Big Foot has a bunch of Juniors on the team that have been playing together since 4th grade and they got a lot of time in games last year, so i would look for Big Foot too surprise some people. Nagel will be a big threat on offense both in the post and on the perimeter, he also is a very good defensive player and can guard anyone. Mike Walker can run the floor and shoot and pass. I am hoping to see the seniors step up this year, like Spadoni. He has the skills to be a great player this year. Big Foot will be a force to reckon with I hope, its been a while since we have been atop the conference. It will still be tough because of all the other teams have some good talent.

yeah Big Foot will be tough however i do think PV ends up taking not only the South but the entire Conference in what should be a very fun season. Pv's role players will have to step up and help out Mumm n Melton but i think they should be able to accomplish that. Also do not sleep on Brodhead people i know a scout in the area and he tells me that Brodheads big guy (i cant remember his name) is a FREAK
My boys 9-8
Brother's Boys 13-5 (9-3)
Fu's Dunk total.....3
Brothers dunk total....1/2

JJ Panoske is his name...and he's a beast..its gonna be really exciting to see how Brodhead does this year and to see how he's developed over his first high school off season..Bhead also has a great player in ryan miller returning and a great perimeter shooter in micah wallace returing...also look for junior point gurard jake cole to make a huge impact on how the cardinals season goes

I'm taking parkview to win the south, with big foot and broadhead coming up tough right behind them. It's gonna be a physical year in the south and any of these 3 teams could win
