Always interesting when they play at Cameron against an inferior team. Just like the FSU game last year, Duke almost lost that game in OT

Justintyem how was the game much closer than the score indicated? I turned the game on with 12 minutes left in the 2nd half, and Holy Cross never brought the deficit within 10. Holy Cross was hack crazy, couldn't handle the pressure from Demarcus Nelson, couldn't handle Duke's perimeter shooting, or the pressure. The game was never close in the 2nd half.

Unless Duke finds some offense from god knows where, it's gonna be a disappointing season in Durham. Especially with the kind of offensive firepower down the road in Chapel Hill. McRoberts needs to be more aggresive and realize he is the primary option on that team. He doesn't seem to assert himself like a star player needs to.

Definataely, the offense comes and goes. They need to find consistency.

As for McRoberts, it's progressing from what it was earlier in the season. He's shown signs of aggression but he should be getting a touch each time down.

Nelson has been the one consistent offensive threat.

The team has the assets, they are just not utilizing them right in my opinion. I think Zoubek needs to become much more involved on offense. He has shown signs of greatness down in the post but still needs to work on holding the ball high and not at a level where everyone can slap it away. I also think Coach K needs to run some Redick-esque plays for Scheyer. He's not getting enough open looks and he needs to be. He has a little trouble creating his own jumper right now but he can get to the basket nicely. Gerald Henderson needs to play more and be used more, enough said.

The one positive, the defense has been pretty good.

Oh and I love how the foul differential gets brought up. Holy Cross had 24 and Duke had 15, yet when Wisconsin played Auburn, the Tigers had 11 more fouls than Wisconsin and no one seemed to mention that. I'm tired of the officiating conspiracy, it's so old and so annoying.
I may be wrong, but I doubt it "I do have one question: Have you ever seen Gollum, John Clayton and Sam Cassell in the same place before?" - Charles Barkley

The announcers said that this was the youngest Duke team in 60 years. I don't really think it will be as big a disappointment as you think.

It was close the begining of the 2nd half because holy cross was up at half.
