40-28, what a pathetic display of basketball by Minnesota in the 1st half, I hope Tubby really gets into them at the half, they have allowed Cornell to shoot 50% from the floor and 43% from 3, Minnesota only took 23 shots, which is pathetic. If they don't pick it up and lose to a 4-4 Cornell team, this would be the most embarrassing loss in years, even worse than an exhibition loss to Winona State.

Andy Bernard is really enjoying this one.

Hey-O!
You are not smarter than your favorite team's upper management, so stop trying to be.

Minnesota is looking flat still coming out of half and at the under 16 timeout mark, they trail 46-33.

Minnesota has now picked up the intensity and is on a 11-0 run to cut Cornell's lead to 2 at 46-44 with 12:12 left in the 2nd half as Cornell calls a timeout. This is a much better effort in the last 3 minutes of this half compared to the first half and 1st 5 minutes of the 2nd half.

The Gophers are playing much better right now, outscoring Cornell 23-8 in the 2nd half to take the lead 51-48 with 7:49 left in the 2nd half at the under 8 timeout.

Ryan Wittman (Eden Prairie graduate in the Twin Cities) is a scoring machine for Cornell! His dad (Randy Wittman) is the coach for the T-Wolves.

The younger Wittman excelled at Eden Prairie High School and has become one of the Ivy League's top players. He has established career highs in points in his past two games for Cornell (4-4), an NCAA tournament team last season, including a 33-point performance Wednesday at Syracuse that included nine three-pointers, a school record.

Looks like Cornell is doing the same thing they did against Syracuse. Come out smoking and then the other teams athleticism comes out and puts them away. Tubby must have been glaring down his team with that famous stare at halftime.
