Saw KM play King and AHS play Custer tonight.
Both C8 teams played pretty well.
King beat KM like 67-56 or something and AHS beat Custer 73-70.
Km hung tough after being behind by a larger margin.
Kelm and Luterbuch along with Wensler seemed to score most for KM.
AHS was extremily impressive and very very fast.
Junior Russ Finko, fresh off the football field,
scored 35 points and soph Charlie Fischer had 13.
Finko is so fast he gets out of control but got lucky a few times.
There cannot be too many players in C8 that will stay with him one on one.
Fox and Mills, both juniors had 7 each.
I'm pretty positive there is no seniors on their team at all.
If there is they don't play.
Custer is a very good team. Both teams shot well.
It was an entertaining game, up and down action, until the refs
started calling everything and the 4th period was mostly foul shooting.
Anyway, I thought they both played well and could have some real good
games against each other this season.

KM beats Nicolet and Tosa East comes from 19 points down and beats AHS 66-58.
AHS controlled the first half and it looked like they would see King but Tosa was a different team in the 2nd half. Tosa must have shot close to 30 free throws to maybe 10 for AHS.
The 2nd half resembled something closer to football at times. AHS got in serious foul troble and lost some key guys down the stretch. Williams got hot for Tosa and Gholston hit some big shots as they scored 45 in the 2nd half. AHS looks like they can beat anyone for stretches but they are not deep inside. They do hit the boards hard but lack the interior defense. I'm surprised with how well they have looked for the most part though. They had 4 in double figures, Fox, Mills, Fischer and Finko. After those 4 their offense drops a bit. KM gets Custer and AHS gets South Division tomorrow. South lost on a buzzer beater to King and Custer hammered Tech.
