Just watch Henderson's eyes. He's looking right at Hansbrough's head the entire time. If he was trying to go for a block he'd at least look at the ball.

Did you miss how Henderson's body/arm turned and changed direction?

At the beginning of the play it looked like Henderson was going to meet the ball where he expected it to be, above Hansbrough's head and about to be released for a easy basket.

Johnson had already stripped the ball out of there, but Henderson' arm motion had already begun. It's not easy to just stop your arm once you've started a swift motion. You can tell Henderson was either going for a big block or a hard foul. Unfortunately, he connected with Hansbrough's nose.

Every time i watch the replay i think it was more and more intentional. He looked at hans head the entire play and his hand excellerated. Plus whats he doing trying to block that shot when the game is over that aggressivly.

Obviously you've never played a game of basketball in your life.

When you're down by 12 already and a guy gets a rebound and tries adding insult to injury, you don't want to allow him to have an easy layup.

And MBC, if it happened to a Duke player, it would still be an unfortunate incident. No one deserves to be suspended for this. It was an accident. It's not like Hansbrough is dead or out for the year. He's likely not going to miss anytime and he can still play. It was just an unfortunate incident, that's all it was. No one was trying to hurt someone or throw a cheap shot anywhere.

From what i've seen, it looks like hes going after the ball the whole time, and unfortunatly Hansbrough was in the path of the ball.

What do you guys think should happen to a player that actually throws a punch at somebody, kick em out of basketball completely!!!! So what, he fouled him hard, and on purpose, but he didn't throw a punch at the guy. He didn't premediate contact either. WOW, amazing how peoples opinion changes when its a team you don't like. Last Saturday Dan Fitzgerald pushed ND's Center on PURPOSE in the back. I can't believe Marquette didn't have to sit him down!!! Last year Tony Skinn from George Mason punched a guy in the nuts and ONLY sat ONE GAME. Henderson should be suspended for more??

Did ya watch the game JIGGS first off that OGOR shoved fitzgerald and fitzgerald gave him a "little" push in the back and he could have won an Oscar for the act job he pulled. He wound up and jump off the court, he weighed 275lbs he could play tackle for ND and you think DAN FITZGERALD could push him 10 feet yeah right.

People are so soft these days. I guarantee Henderson didn't jump up thinking, "ok, I'm gonna make it look like I am blocking this shot and then I'm gonna follow through WITH MY ELBOW and hit him in the face." No, there is no way he was thinking that. First of all this all happened in a split second, you don't have time to measure what you are doing to that extent. Second of all, Henderson does NOT seem like the thuggish, angry, dirty player that would do somthing like this. His best friend is on the other team and Henderson has no background of doing this. It just happened so fast, I have a hard time believing he intentionally got him. Yes, he probably went in thinking I'm gonna either block this shot or foul him hard, but he should have. Almost every basketball player with a pair is going to block that shot or foul hard in that situation when a team up 12 is trying to shoot put back rebounds. If the rolls were switched then it would have happened the exact same way.

I think next year will get a lot better for Duke with the addition of Kyle Singler, Nolan Smith and Taylor King. They need depth and by adding those guys, they will become one of the deeper teams in the country.

I like how Hansbrough tried to go after Henderson.

I'd love to see a fight between Hansbrough and McRoberts, McRoberts would take Tyler OUT.

McRoberts would be unable to walk after Hansbrough finished with him. McRoberts is a soft, P.ussy POS. Just look at the two of them and compare.....McRoberts would be lucky to live
