Hmm, double the CO2 and the atmosphere's thermal conductivity rises 0.03%, man are we headed for a disaster []

It's a religion for some people, and no amount of data will change that.

None of this will be reported on by MSNBC/CNN besides a small blurb in 3 weeks. FOX will have it front page-headline news for the next 3 weeks as well. . . .

as much as I also don't believe in things such as "global warming" apart from just regular temperature increases and decreases over decades and centuries...I do think that it wouldn't hurt to at least do our best to be a bit more environmental friendly...I think everyone can agree that just doin a few small things will not only help the environment but could potentially help them physically or what not whether it be biking or walking instead of driving a block...or using natural products instead of synthetics and the like...

Global warming is probably real to some degree, I don't know how it doesn't make sense that the gases we depend on that trap heat aren't contributing to heating of the atmosphere. But, like someone mentioned, the earth warming is natural. All in all, I think global warming is being ingrained in our minds by a bunch of feelers who need a cause to support and happen to have some empirical data to support their convictions.

I think it was dfnewburry who said it best (to paraphrase):

Going off of that, I just read Freakonomics, and they interviewed these 3 really smart guys who claim they have a solution to global warming that involves putting sulfur dioxide into the air. It only would cost $20 million. I think you have to try it right?
