D1:

Hale @ Homestead - Hale will say they welcome the challenge, but privately, they have to be fuming about this draw.

Milwaukee Tech @ Marquette - Tech has no offense this year.

D2:

Sussex Hamilton @ DeForest - GMC homer pick, but I think Sussex at the top of their game can beat the defending D2 runner-up.

Milwaukee Custer @ Brookfield Central - BC will score in all three facets in this one.

Hale @ Homestead- unfortunate pick for hale. Hale's QB will have 1.5 seconds to do something with the ball or he's sacked....Homesteads defense leads the way and Collins catches two TD passes

Milwaukee Tech @ Marquette

D2

Sussex Hamilton @ DeForest- Hamilton could upset this one

Milwaukee Custer @ Brookfield Central

Homestead --- Hale lost the right to be mad over this matchup after getting it handed to them the last two games. If anything Homestead should be upset about not only having to play a tough Hale team in round 1 but also but also being placed in the "conference champion" bracket.

Marquette --- Marquette is limping into the playoffs and is vulnerable. But not against Tech. Make it 9 straight years of first round wins.

Sussex --- Tough matchup but I think this team might be finally coming together.

BC --- Rumor has it that the Central JV will play this game. It still wont be close.

West Allis Hale @ Homestead - To be honest this game won't even be close, Hale could honestly be shut out for the first time this season. Homestead 28-0

Bradley Tech @ MUHS - I could really see this game being very close, but I think MUHS' offense will be to much for Tech's defense. MUHS 28-21

Sussex @ DeForest - Sussex is playing good football at the right time of the year, and I think they will pick up the road win. Sussex 31-20

Milw. Custer @ Brook Central - It will be BC all night long, no contest. Brook Central 35-6

Hale @ Homestead - This is going to be closer than people think. While Homestead does have one of the states best d-lines, they haven't played anyone who really hits. And Hale can hit when they want to, so we'll just have to wait and see.

Hale may very well make it uncomfortable for Homestead if they play well...but the bolded part is perhaps the worst reasoning I've ever seen. These Homestead kids are experienced (some of them have played in two state title games), and I think they've played plenty of hard-hitting teams along the way.

Sorry, i meant during the regular season. The north shore just isnt a challenging conference for homestead. While teams like cedarburg do make it interesting everyonce in a while, homestead walks away with the north shore just about every year. they see plenty of good competition during the state tournament, but during the regular season, no so much.

Could it be because they're just that good?
