Good luck Redbirds. Bring back that gold ball to southwest Wisconsin. Also best of luck to all of the other southwest region teams going to state!!

Best of luck Darlington. This is unfortunately probably the best Shioctin team they have ever had. Might take a quick break and stop home to watch quick. Represent well.

How much do you know about shiocton? I was able to find a lot of springs highlights on the internet, but haven't found much for the chiefs. What I did see, it looks like they have a really good receiver/DB who can sky and pull anything out of the air. Stats say the QB takes the majority of carries. Trying to figure out if its an option he runs or more like a spread and hit the holes like Alex did? If they run up the middle I think the birds will be ok. If its option I think it still won't be horrible. More of a roll out/sweep I'm worried about, and I hear they have a great D. Their fans sure like to talk a lot. Would be great to shut down that QB who is god to shiocton fans.

One game to definitely look at on film would be the Shiocton vs Amherst game.. Shiocton never lead during that game until a late 4th quarter pick six which broke a 14-14 tie.. i'd like to think our Offense/Defense is just as good, if not better than Amhersts

If there were ever a game this year that shows Shiocton is human, that would be the one.

Just look at the job their defense has done this year. Since the Amherst game, which they gave up 14 points, they have given up 1 touchdown to Coleman in Level 2 on a long pass play (up 47-0 at the time). They have given up 4 touchdowns ALL YEAR. That is what I am talking about. The touchdown to Iola came with 2:51 left in the 4th with Shioctin up 34-0. All I know is what I read and what I gather from the box scores. From what I have read and seen in the stats, all I can assume is that this defense is as stout as they come. To beat them would mean that you had to be successful with the run game to set up the pass game.

I am just saying, this is one of the more dominating teams in recent history. Darlington will have a tall task in knocking them off, something I would love to see. So, best of luck. I agree on the fans.

Its not their QB. Shiocton is very athletic and so is Darlington. Shiocton has a two quarterback system which started two years ago. Sortalike the wildcat formation. If you watch the film the wildcat man will usually only throw it to 2 guys... goodluck trying to stop #22 in the passing game, dude drop step dunks over people like its his job

Please beat Shioctin. I think I am done listening to all of the crap on the football board. OR if you can't beat them, I hope it is a 1-score game and that you put a bunch of points on them. Please.

Congrats on the great season Darlington. Very nice effort all year long. Be proud of the Silver Ball. Better than anything we have ever held up and only 14 teams in the entire State get one every year. It's a privilege and an honor. Congrats.

I stated a long time ago not to look past Darlington. A long time ago. Pre-playoffs. I wasn't bragging them up. I was stating a fact and I have 0 ties, and they will confirm that, to Darlington. I have even been accused on SEVERAL occasions as being a hater. I am just sick of fans being stupid. And so I spelled Shiocton wrong. Big whoop.
