I thought we should make a thread for all the players going pro early. List them as they come out and if it was a good/bad decision, where they'll go in the draft, and how their team will be next yeat without them. (this way we wont have a new thread for every single guy that bolts for the draft)

I am a Duke fan, and I do believe its a awful decision. Yes he will have a 3 year guarenteed contract, but what happens after that? McRoberts is good, don't get me wrong, but another couple of years in college would 1) make him tons better and 2) put Duke right there for a 4th National Title.

its so hard to answer that question if we would stay or go, i would love to see him stay because they could be great next year but would any of u turn down a huge contract? its easy to say yeah and go back to school, its another thing however to actually be in that situation and turn down that money, until everyone is in that situation, no one can truely say what is best for these players.

The only one I know of so far is McRoberts, I definely think it was a bad decision. Especially when Duke is supposed to be so good next year, why not stay and contend for a national championship?

Greg Paulus will be a very successful PG in the NBA. Not now, but after two more years under Coach K, he will be the next Steve Nash!

In his case I would say go back to school, contend for a national championship and then get the big bucks, with a player like Durant its a tougher decision because it would be pretty hard to be any more dominant than he already is.
