Marshall 83
Shoreland Lutheran 62

Marshall controlled pretty much the whole game with their high IQ halfcourt game. They scored very little in transition or on putbacks. Everything came out of the flow of the offense. Really impressive.

Chelby Koker had 47 to keep SL competitive, but they never really threatened the defending champs in the second half.

Mukwonago 62
Milwaukee King 55

Final

M: Beyer 23, Pavletich 10, Cera 1, Andersen 20, Henning 8.

MK: McNeal 12, Garcia 6, Clark 18, Racks 2, Burnett 6, Roby 11.

Mukwonago's defense stood strong late, but they don't win this game without Grace Beyer withstanding King's relentless pressure while the rest of her team struggled with it most of the second half. Herculean effort from #5.

after they dismantled Oak Creek the way they did I wasn’t sure how this game was going to go. This turned out to be a great game.

It was a game of runs. I was only able to catch the second half, and despite being down 16 at half, King ran off an 18-2 run to tie it. Mukwonago didn't even make their first FG of the half until there was 7:55 left. but they were able to get an 8-0 run themselves after King tied it and were able to keep the Generals at bay the rest of the way, mainly thanks to stout halfcourt defense that took away the drives from the General guards and prevented entry passes to the post and Sydnee Roby. Oh, and they also made their FTs.
