1. Oostburg Lot of returning players form last years State team. Raeder, Telschow, Huibgtrse.
Key will be the how the underclassman fill there rools.
2. Cedar Grove. Good core group back with the addition of Kaul will make them a very good
Team.will give Oostburg a strong test early on.
3. Howards Grove. Lost alot of Senior leadership but have some quality players back, will battle
you tough.

4. Ozaukee. The loss of Kaul will hurt. But with Thill and Hartnett, don'' overlook them. Plus they
have the best coach in the conference right now.
5-9 all the rest

5. Elkhart Lake - They have always been a pretty physical team and have surprised lots of teams. They are also returning both Vollraths and Knepfel.

6. Random Lake - Lost a coach and their number one scorer. It's going to be tough but I think they are going to do alright. Their height is going to be all on Witkowski, good thing she is back from her knee injury.

7. Lutheran - They lost their top two scorers but they have the post presence in Dillman. But otherwise, I have no idea.

8. Kohler - They have two returning posts and two returning dribblers. They also have Berlin who can play in all different spots for them.

9. Sheboygan Christian - I think it's going to be a tough year for them. Only two returning seniors. It will help them to have DeMaster back but they have lost a lot of people

10. Stockbridge - From what I see, no one is over 5-9. Other than that, I have no idea how they are going to be this year.

The 5-8 places will probably change a lot during the course of the season. This year, I believe, Oostburg, Cedar Grove, Ozaukee and Howards should finish top 4 while a dog fight happens with everyone else.

i think that conference will easily belong to oostburg this year. with all of the talent they are returning i don't know of a team in conference that will come within 10 points of them. some teams like CG, HG, and OZ might play them tough but that wont matter. personally i think that oostburg girls will make it to state at the very least and a good chance to win it all

as far as the rest of the conference goes the real race is for 2nd place. between CG, OZ, and HG it's up for grabs...

CG girls are really athletic and i agree could pose a small threat to OO
OZ put the ball in thills hands and have her run the show, she's prolly best player in conference with raeder
HG lost a lot of seniors including albert which will hurt but it will depend on how the younger players step up

ill say 3 way tie for 2nd place between CG, OZ, and HG

so we're about halfway through the season and it's been a season of surprises. oostburg girls already have a conference loss in a surprise one to ozaukee. next surprise is that CG girls haven't performed as well as everyone including myself thought. big surprise is HG. they lose lots from last year and have a team of sophomores with sr. leadership and have beaten falls, CG, and OZ. HG plays oostburg on tuesday in HG so that should be a good game. looks like HG has a good coach who has a good program there - should be a fun 2nd half to see who wins the CLC
