Thank you Easy someone had to tell him it's not all ES people. I do have something to comment on though. I was talking to some Gilman people after the game yesterday. I have to say I was very impressed with them, and I believe it reflects on there community as well. They were very supportive of ES as I was to them as well. One guy who is on this board(wont say which name) also stated how he gets sick of all this conference talk and some other idiotic talk that takes away from the games and the teams players. For those of you out there I think everybody gets the hint on which conference is better in football. Let's put it to rest already.

I do just find it interesting though that anyone from Eleva would question sportsmanship, as DB said after an 81-0 showing against an overmatched ACL team. I hate to say something like this was it was almost justice to see the team that humilated another team 81-0 get beat 42-0 at state.

Were you at the ES vs ACL game? If not, then you have nothing to say. Most people just saw the score in the paper and assumed they intentionally ran the score up. Why don't you call the coaches from ACL and find out what there thoughts are? They will tell you how it went down. If you weren't at the game to see what happened then your opinion does not matter at all to me. The team must tackle to stop TD's from happening. You CANT tell the JV not to score when it's right there. They practice just as hard as the varsity, so when they get in they want to score as well. I do feel bad for ES JV in this game though. They sure did get alot of practice on just doing plain old dives in the 2nd half. There was not one play called outside the 2nd half, if the runner went outside it was because there was no hole to run through and he did what everyone else would try and do. Make a play when nothing is there!

I talked to one of the ES players after the game and he said at the halftime meeting of the captains the ACL guys said they didnt want to play anymore, but their coach wouldnt let them quit. So you have players who dont want to continue and a coach who does. Not a good combination. I also heard players say that ACL guys were purposefully falling down. They felt bad for them. The ACL coach was laughing after the game. It wasnt that big of deal to him.

Wow, and Augusta opens at ES next year. And then it will start all over again!

Great job to both teams. Gilman, way to fulfil a goal, I am sure you all made a year ago. ES, way to bring home the first ball (in football) to the school!

Is that a sure thing? If so, what are they going to do about the scrimmage? ES usually scrimmages Augusta.

doesn't matter, augusta will be terrible for years to come now, will be lucky to score points, let alone win games.
