Gilman over Clear Lake 59-40. Game was within 10 points most of the time, but Gilman made their free throws down the stretch. I don't think they should have any problem with Butternut tomorrow night. The highlight for Clear Lake was a nice dunk by Vance Freindshuh(sp).

Your right about the dunk. It was awsome. I have Gilman beating Butternut by 15.

First of all Gilman is going to stomp butternut!!!!!!!!! Butternut and southshore just arent good enough to be in a sectional! If Gilman doesnt use there height advantage against butternut with no one over 6 foot it would be a very sad day. Clear lake least matched up with Gilman because of their size. Wickbolt would of made a differnece although i think the final outcome would of been the same, but it would of been about a 5 point game. Clear lake will be a state contender when they find a point guard that can penetrate and get it to their big guys. Next year if they can find a point guard you will see them at state. Congradulations to Gilman and you most likely will see them at state. Friendshues dunk was awesome look forward to watching him next year if he keeps working hard!

Clear Lake will be solid next year. They have tremendous height, but there inability to handle the ball may cost them. I am guessing Thayer will bring the ball up????
Kellen Winslow at 90% is still the best tight end in the league

I might go with 25. Who here besides me thinks they need to mix up the regionals so that South Shore doesn't make it to Spooner every year and get beat???

I dont know where all this talk abotu the Point Guard is coming in? Grosskruetuz (sp?) brings it up and has a hell of a shot. They need some roll players to step up and take it to the rack. To many outside shots. From what i saw at Spooner and when we played them.

state contender? they might be good but i dont think they're a notch above anyone else in the sectional or regional even, Clayton has just as good of shot and Luck is moving down to D4 this year. but i would agree a point guard like that help anyone, but until they do, good luck

I'm calling Luck the favorite for next year. They return Olson, Richert, and Peterson from the starting lineup, and Klatt and Opitz are capable enough to possiably replace Pilz and Christianson.
