Longtime Brewer friend, Angel Hernandez calling the balls & strikes tonight. IMO, Hernandez has already called a phantom balk on Matt Garza.

On the other hand, Garza looking totally out of sorts, beginning with his lob to SS Jean Segura covering 2nd base on a double-play ball hit back to the mound ... then the balk ... then Garza lost his focus, I believe ... with no help form Scotter Genett throwing another potential double-play ball into left field (albeit a great stop by Gennet on the ball going to his right).

Hope you weren't relying on the announcers on that...

You can see him start to move his right arm, and then stop. Clear balk no matter how you look at it.

Woo!

6 in a row. Clean sweep on the road.

Hopefully the pitching stays locked in and the bats stay hot for the home stand. Pittsburgh and St Louis coming to town.
The Brewers will finish 90-72 and earn the #1 WC berth.

Carlos Gomez will have a 30/40 season (HR/SB) and win a 2nd Gold Glove en route to an All Star selection.
