Congratulations to Co-Conference champs New Lisbon and Brookwood, first title for New Lisbon since the 03 season and first for Brookwood in 26 years according to LaCrosse Media sources!

Playoff Update (with some corrections from last week)
Definitely in: Brookwood, New Lisbon and Necedah
More than likely in (according to Travis Wilson of WSN): Bangor and Hillsboro
Out: Royall, Cashton, Wonewoc-Center

Necedah is projected to land in D6, where I suspect they will wind up with a 4 or 5 seed, more than likely a 5 if they join up with Cloverbelt/Cloverwood teams.

All the rest projected as in will likely land in D7. New Lisbon and Brookwood should do no worse than a 2 seed in their brackets and host their first games, Bangor and Hillsboro will be traveling, but I think they wind up with no worse than 6 seeds.

And just a sidebar here, just from watching Royall tonight, they should have won at least 5 games in conference this year, that's how solid they've looked to me this year. Really competitive year in the SBC.
I will not apologize for being awesome.

Fine seasons from both Brookwood and New Lisbon, as they shared the conference title and made it to Level 3 of the playoffs. Not sure what to expect for next year, but it should be an interesting year.

Good luck to all in their chosen winter sports!

Quick update on the teams that eliminated NL and Brookwood:
Darlington beat Springs today to advance to the D6 title game against Shiocton.
Pittsville got beat by a very game Glenwood City team, who will now take on the very explosive Black Hawk football team in the D7 title game.
I will not apologize for being awesome.
