Did anybody see this. In montello, there are 3,000 fish killed in a small lake. The pictures are insane. In light of all the other DNR talk, I thought many may be interested.

I bet it was that goddamn sasquatch!!!

but on a less serious note...that sucks...I hope that if it was a person/company that they take a pretty big hit for this...plus if these fish died from something in the water I wonder if the town would be a little bit worried about the drinking water or eating any fish caught out of the lake...

Puckaway is notoriously shallow and weedy...perhaps there was some sort of freak oxygen deficiency that caused a sudden kill...

actually my first thought was something along the sort of the shallow water and the "carp control" that a lot of lakes/rivers in the state seem to have and I thought maybe the nets trapped them in a small area...but then the DNR warden says what and then who caused it making me think this was the doing of people/person...either unintentionally or intentionally...hopefully they tell us more soon...we will see how this winter shapes up after the sad stories of ducks/geese getting killed in open pools of water by snowmobilers or snowmobilers literally driving down deer and then torturing them...
