[&:] I'm confused...two or three people claiming to be 'Fennimore' don't seem to agree on what was happening. I hope all you guys weren't in the same huddle!

It was not a fake field goal. It was a 44 yard attempt and we wanted to see if Tyler could make it. Why not. High snap and a guy got through the hole so Chapman pulled up. He ran way wide and lofted one up. Not a called fake. Then on the extra point, #10 drilled our holder, Chapman, head to head contact. We tried kicking it. Then we had the personal foul and so tried to kick it again. NExt snap landed somewhere near the 20 I swear. He just threw it up.

We weren't trying to rub it in. The last touchdown was scored by a senior that has worked hus butt off for 4 years and never gotten the chance to score. He is probably our #5 back if we had a depth chart. BJ is a good kid.

So don't try to make it look like it was something it wasn't. There was no audible call to fake the field goal.

He raised his knee of the ground to get it plus they had penetration up the middle. They sold out on the rush every kick. Just know that it wasn't called.

I believe in the rules a holder can raise his knee to retrieve a snap and put it back down to place the ball without being ruled 'down'. Not an arguement, just what I thought the HS rule is.

That is correct. However, with the rush on hard, he wasn't going to take any chances so he pulled out. And this rule was just changed this year.

Sorry I have to post this from the football board. This comment was made by Pittsville Fan in regards to the game. He honestly thinks Pittsville would beat us 9 out of 10 times. I laughed. Not being co cky either. But they only had like 150 yards of total offense that day.

"I'll be the first to admit that you guys did manhandle us for the most part of the second half. But I will also say this we played our worst game of the year on that day which sucked for us since it's win or go home. What's with you guys whining about having to come to Pittsville for the game? The WIAA has the criteria set if you wanted to play at home for Level 3 you just should have let Necedah host, it really would not have mattered against them. Your coaching staff must have been pretty upset abut having to come to Pittsville since you guys were up 23-3 and ran a fake field goal late in the fourth quarter. That was really classy. Not to mention your totally false post about our headcoach's comments before the game. I truly believe we would win 9 out of 10 games against you guys but you were just better that day and really only for a half. It doesn't really matter though because neither of our teams won state. "
