Central and Logan play Eau Claire North and Memorial Friday and Saturday this Week. Any predictions?
Here are mine
Logan wins 2
Central beats Memorial but loses to North

Sparta West Salem also play Friday I think Sparta wins that one.

I agree, I don't think North will be as good as last year.

Good luck to both La Crosse teams!

I predict a La Crosse sweep.

Logan will roll easily in both games.
Central will beat Memorial fairly easily (by 10-15) and win a close one against North

I don't know if Central will be able to deal with North's 6"2" girl, they will be much smaller.

City teams did well, Logan looked good, Mueller and Weidman appear to be a real good scoring duo. Logan played alot of the younger kids on Saturday they should have some depth. Central looked real quick just fell to some good shooting by Eau Claire North.

I was unable to attend the games this weekend between the La Crosse schools and Eau Claire schools. I spoke to a person, who I trust, who said he saw all 4 games and thought Logan looked good but he thought Central was quicker and probably had a deeper bench which could be a problem for Logan head to head as Logan has a tendancy to be aggressive defensively and get into foul trouble. In what I have heard from another person, who was not at the games but is usually pretty informed regarding high school sports,he feels it is just the opposite. He feels Logan's starters are strong and there bench while inexperienced is pretty athletic and should improve greatly as the year goes on especially considering the quality of teams they are playing in non-conference games. What are the opinions of others who saw the games over the weekend?

It is pretty early to talk the Central Logan match up but I disagree with your guy saying Central has the deeper bench. Logan played alot of kids especially Saturday I think up 10. I didn't see CEntral play more than 7 or 8. Logan does play aggressive defense because that is how defense is to be played and they did not seem to have foul issues this past weekend. Alot of time and alot of games before they play each other so we will have to wait.

Didn't see either team play but don't see many MVC teams giving Logan trouble; they are talented and have a good bench.
