I am going to make a Division 5 prediction. Final 4 teams will be Stanley-Boyd, Lancaster, Amherst, and Cedar Grove-Belgium. And I am predicting a rematch of this year's state championship game. Anyone agree? I also would have to say that there should be one non-conference game played at Camp Randall the first high school game of the year and that would be Kimberly vs Arrowhead. Camp Randall holds 85,000 people and I feel that the stadium would be at least half full if they would have this game there. Anyone else agree there?

Stanley will be in D6 next year their enrollment is going way down same with Marathon!!

Are you insane? 10,000 would be the max I could see....and that's stretching it.[/quote
It would be a great game to see, but chances are that if its there at Camp Randall its probably would be on TV. preventing a lot of people form going

The D1 game is in a terrible timeslot (honestly all of them besides D4 are) and it coincides with a lot of people heading to the Northwoods for deer hunting. For as big of a high school football fan as I am, the last D1 final I was able to attend at Camp Randall was Mukwonago/Marshfield in '04.

I imagine I'm not the only one who would probably pass on going to that gargantuan matchup if it was held in that same timeslot.

This seems like a ridiculous debate to me, both already talking about teams for 2014, and theoretical attendance numbers for a game that won't exist next year, using this year's teams. Even 10,000 for a game in Madison, involving two non-Madison teams would be crazy.

How many were at this year's Homestead / Arrowhead game? Maybe 5,000? This was the most anticipated game on the schedule this year for the entire state involving big schools (I mention that because you'd need big schools/communities to get big attendance). This was in August when the weather was really nice, and it was at one of the school's home field in the largest metro area in the state. I'm not sure how you top that game as far as variables for attendance.
