I'm not a huge fan of Wisconsin basketball but I'm baffled as to how they can only be ranked #20 right now and 6 spots behind UConn. UConn has played scrub teams all season and were handled against the only decent team they played (Duke), which also happens to be the same team the Badgers led against from start to finish and defeated.

You're not going to drop much when you lose on a neutral court, to a team that's in the top ten when you lose to them. Polls don't take into consideration who else you've played so far in the season.

UCONN certainly has not won pretty, but they will not get penalized for winning games. And like Rodey said, you won't drop too much when you lose to a Top 10 team on a neutral court, unless you get massacred. UCONN certainly didn't look too good against Duke, but the score was still within single digits.

Not that the polls look into anything this closely, but didn't Duke shoot under 30% in that game? And they still had a comfortable lead the whole time.

A pessimist is always alone. An optimist is always just two people away from a threesome.

I'm not sure, I didn't see the entire game. Looking at the box score, Duke outscored UCONN 37-28 in the first half, while the second half was knotted up at 31. I don't know what the in-between stuff looks like, but it seems like it was competitive throughout. Both teams shot terribly. If I remember correctly, I think they combined to miss 90+ shots?
