I don't like this at all. He's 34 years old, how much does he expect to get after he was dropped as the #1 WR option?

I wonder if we had taken Crabtree if he would be doing this.

Get Jennings extended, then work on Driver...

Or if someone wants to give the Packers a suitable D-End or OLB for our 3-4 scheme, ship driver out of there.

I love Driver but you can't keep asking for more money year after year. He's 34, he shouldn't have signed such a long deal if he's looking for making more money.

....you just put up your lowest numbers since '03 and you want more money.... hmm. Not sure thats the best bargaining leverage.

does he not care that the country is in a ression, and 3.9 mil is not enough, thousands of people out of work & he want a raise, come on mr team guy, i would like to get pain $150 an hour to, but i doubt my employer would pay it if i asked for it every 2 years, be realistic mr driver

Prince Fielder will sign with some team for 7 years $160 mil

I don't think that he's really that serious about getting more money. He's pulling a Favre and avoiding camp. If he gets a new contract that's just gravy.

that would spell bad news for a team like the packers.

I would bet that collectively the owners of the packers have more money then the owner of any other team...

Symbolically they do, but not literally. The Packers would be killed by no salary cap.

so lets say the packers had a buyer willing to spend big bucks to get them...how would this team go about "selling" itself to an owner with so many different "owners"??? and who would get the money for it?

i think its safe to say that the packers org is not going to get sold, but there would be a lot of red tape involved, i can only imagine

lists the packers as the 16th most valuable franchise in terms of dollars BUT! they have the lowest debt of any team in the nfl
