I know we are looking at crap shoots right now. But this seems to be a rather large one.

He was a multi-sport athlete at FSU(football and baseball). Missed the entire 2008 baseball season for grades. And in this season it batted .304. Appeared in 46 games, but only started 22. Had only 6 doubles and no homers. Also struck out 26 times in 79 at bats. You would hope someone who struck out so often would hit for a little more power. But that didnt happen either.

Hopefully the brewers scouts know something more than i can determine via numbers, because it just doesnt seem that way.

Only April, and I'm looking forward to Badger Football. Depressing!

I know Dott is good...I'm still kind of shocked he got drafted...

on a side note...I think that Tampa Bay must have a huge presence in Wisconsin...I know they were after a player on my team in HS and I know a bunch of people around the state saying that they have seen or talked to scouts from Tampa...thats crazy but its obvious it's paying off with the WS appearance

they have a scout who lives in jefferson actually, he works with some of the pitchers in the area on the side as well. i don't think he works with dott and actually him and Vodenlich don't get along and Vo told him to stay away from brady endl when brady was down there, but that def helps. I was also suprised because I think he went like 7-6 but he had a lot of K's. Pitching in the northwoods league last year probably helped too

Not a good start for young Kentrail Davis' career. Typical Boras client move though. I didn't like the pick of this guy to begin with, and definitely not a fan now.
