Peck started and did a great job. He went to 1st base in the 7th I think. He also replaced Reynolds in the lead-off batting position today. Peck was who scored when Reilly hit the blooper.

GOOD JOB DODGEVILLE!!

Even without Jay, Kussmaul, and Reynolds. I'll have to make sure I read the Chronicle this week. I'm sure Mike will be all fired up in his column! [:-]

can you give me a little history of the HTL league? When it started, and why. Who can play on what team, and all that stuff? Is this like a glorified soft-ball league? I didn't mean that in a bad way......I have no idea about the league.

I see extensive coverage in the State Journal, and even wrote to their "ask us" column (or something like that) about a little insight into the League. Never got a reply, never saw anything in the paper.........that was probably 2 seasons ago.

Way to go Dodgeville!

Wisconsin's largest adult amateur baseball league. The league started in 1929 and now has grown to 44 teams in south-central Wisconsin.

I don't know the entire history, but I'll see what I can find out.
