Edgar 3
Black Hawk 2

Two phenomenal d7 teams combine for less than 100 yards of total offense and Edgar wins it on last second fg
Connor Kurki could be starting QB for Badgers this year no doubt!!

Both teams are probably better than last year.  I will take the Warriors 21-14 in another upset.  They have the perfect offense to attack Edgars defense.  It will be heartbreak back to back years for the Wildcats at the hands of the Warriors.  Both teams could compete up a Division or two.

BH only had, what, 20 kids in uniform for the title game last year? I really wonder now that we're several months into the season how much better the Warren kids have made this team.

That said, as long as Edgar plays their game and not whatever that performance was a year ago, they should be the odds-on favorite. I'm banking that a year later, these kids get it cleaned up and have a good showing.

Edgar 26, Black Hawk 12.

Weren't you one of the people that picked Edgar by multiple scores last Year?  he he

I think this might be the best game on Thursday.  Both pretty even backed up with great defenses.  The two coaches are two of the best in the state.  It's going to be hard to hold Black Hawk to 12 points.  Contrary to belief, Bangor was fairly successful at running the ball in the 1st half until they had some turnovers and miscues that stopped them on several drives.  They finished with 180 yards rushing.  Not great stats but not horrid either. And Black Hawk defense is underrated, as Lourdes had 0 yards rushing against them and was only able to put up 7 with their elite passing attack.   I can't wait until Thursday

Another terrific matchup. You know Edgar was hoping to see Black Hawk after the poor game they played last year. I'm not sure how you beat Coach Sinz back to back years, but if anyone can, it's this Black Hawk team. Will the rainy forecast play a part in deciding the game?

I've got Edgar in the rematch.

Edgar struggling to move the ball....Black Hawk only slightly better...though Rufenacht just ripped off a big run into Edgar territory.

53 yard run followed up by a 30-yard TD pass to Milz.

Edgar lacks gamebreakers offensively...could be the difference without turnovers.
