Taking a chance to venture my opinion, which may get me yelled at and/or reported, but I think Brown Deer would certainly be competitive in Division 2, but I would give an edge to all four of the D2 semi-finalists over them. I think Wisco wins it all in D2, and I think they'd beat Brown Deer by 15.
The Packers/Badgers/Brewers are like your children; you don't love them because they're good, you love them because they're yours.

BD did beat Greendale by 1 early in the year at home.

I think they'd be competitive as well...however, I actually think they'd have a tough time even getting to state in D2. They arguably had the easiest path in D3...whereas in D2 they'd have had to run through a very tough sectional featuring teams (ignoring WISCO) they already lost to...Pewaukee, Eisenhower, Pius.

I would disagree. His feet didn't come down together (all though it couldn't have been much closer). In the replay you could see the right foot came down and then the left one.

If you call that traveling, then all of these spot shooters who hop into their 3 should be called as well.

If you "hop" and then catch in the air no but if you catch then "hop yes".

If his feet would have came down at the same time then he could have elevated and shot but they didn't come down at the same time so it's a travel.

I agree that it was a travel, but I was surprised it was called. I see players jump stop and their feet do not come down together a lot, but rarely is there a whistle.

Depends on when the ball is gathered. Gathered in the air, the feet do not need to come down together and it's not technically a jump stop. Gathered when a foot is on the floor, then the player can elevate off the foot and jump stop, but they must come down together and neither foot can be a pivot.

For me, the phrase jump stop is used to liberally these days.

Unfortunately, I don't think they would make it to Madison because they would be in Wisco's sectional.

Congrats BD! Brings back memories of my senior year back in 2002 playing in Madison with Steve Novak... Let's just say that didn't end as well as this one

Ahhhhhhh!

Gotta go!

Appears Lodi chose today to play their worst game in years. They haven't lost by this much since getting shelled by Brillion in the 2012 D3 semifinals.

Lodi just didn't have the depth to handle what Brown Deer could throw at them. Didn't help that some of the kids played a little intimidated and were too reliant on Shea to bail them out.

In addition to shooting poorly from the field, not crashing the boards, and the second half performance doomed the Blue Devils today. The loss can't overlook how improved Lodi has become in the last few seasons.
