Waupaca 28
Reedsburg 17

I think this game will be a great game for 3 to maybe 3 and a half quarters. Nothing against a very talented Reedsburg squad, but Waupaca is just too loaded with talent and will take home their second gold ball in 3 years.

I think Waupaca is going to dominate once again. They've dominated this whole playoffs. Offense has scored atleast 24 points in each game. Defense has allowed just 20 points. And more impressively, 3 shutouts. The defense is the best in D3. Eight shutouts total this year. I'm thinking Waupaca 24-6

OK...OK.... I learned my lesson....Never...NEVER doubt Waupaca again....or have I? I really thought Wisconsin Lutheran H.S. was going to win D3, but Reedsburg pretty much took them to the woodshed. Both teams are peeking at the right time which hopefully make for a great game.
OK.....for the pick...... 9-0 vs 6-3....logic would say go with the 9-0 team...... but I am not known to be logical (plus this would be pretty boring if everyone picked the same.) I am going to go with.....yes....you heard it here first. Reedsburg in the upset 28-17. [][][][]

I second that. I didn't think they would beat Kewauskum and they embarrassed them. I also didn't forsee Wisco losing. It would be great to see the Comets win the gold ball though. I know I'm calling in sick to see it. Does Waupaca have any good young skill players coming up for the next few years?
Connor Kurki could be starting QB for Badgers this year no doubt!!

Waupaca caps off the perfect season, with a 24-14 victory.....

Don't hold your breath that they will be around anytime soon either....

You didn't think they would beat Kewaskum? Heck, you didn't even think they would win ONE playoff game this year, as you had New London beating them in Level One. []

I 2nd this one and think if NL plays to their potential it could happen although Waupaca is extremely good at their skill positions as is New London. I just have doubts about Waupaca's O Line when they play a good team. I think the EVC was a little overrated this year. I watched Waupaca-Clintonville this year and thought neither team was as close to as good as they were last year when they played at Waupaca.

One week ago, we had people from different boards stating that Waupaca and Reedsburg were not that good and there were 3 to 4 other teams in the state that should have been playing in the semi-finals instead of them. Now we stand 2 days away from Waupaca-Reedsburg for the Gold Ball and none of those people that said Waupaca and Reedsburg would lose are showing there faces. Plain and simple, the 2 best teams are playing for the state title. I don't know anything about Reedsburg except they are scoring alot of points and they just beat Wisco so those are eye openers. On the other side, Waupaca has been playing great on all sides of the ball. Lost in the game last week vs. Kewaskum, was a 44 yard FG by Litchfield that got taken off the board due to a roughing the kicker and automatic first down. I think Waupaca has been too dominant on defense to pick against them at this point. I am hoping it's a good game as sometimes the state games turn into blowouts. However, I'm predicting a blowout 37-13 Waupaca.

I see I screwed up my post when I typed none of the people that said Kewaskum and Reedsburg would lose. Obviously, I meant to say Waupaca but my head was moving quicker than my fingers typing. I have corrected my original post but I hope everyone understood what I was trying to say. And believe, I won't be holding my breath because you are dead on that they won't be around to admit they were wrong.
