The CWC-10 has alot of people in events. Marion has the 6th overall TJ (Mengert), Malueg (1st in 100, 2nd 200, anchor of the 1st 4x1) Keranen (4th HJ).. Rosholt, Tri-County, Tigerton, Gresham also have top performers. Wild Rose poses a good chance too take state with athletes in the (100,200,400,1600,4x4,300h,HJ,LJ,Shot) The marathon sectional was real tough, so look for teams out of that sectional.

I've actually gone through the cumulative sectional results and gave points to the top eight qualifiers and while it's almost impossible that these will be the state results, it still gives a pretty good look at what the team scoring should be. Unless I messed something up I have Fennimore and Marion tying for first with 36pts with Cuba City third (31) and Wild Rose fourth (29). Then Newman (26), then Marathon (25) so if the seeding holds relatively true that could give three of the top six spots to a single sectional.

100m - Brett Becker, Cuba City
200m - Shane Knudtson, Eleva Strum - After watching him run this year in the D-land I've got to pick him over Becker although it should be a pretty good race
400m - Tom Helstern, Shell Lake - After last year's race and looking at this year's times, this race could be over very early
800m - Dominick McCormick, North Crawford - He's been putting up awsome times all year and I think he'll be a little too much for Lincicum
1600m - Domonick McCormick, North Crawford - This was a hard choice but I think McCormick has enough in him to take it
3200m - Josh Mulloy, Cedar Grove-Belgium
110HH - Zach Anderson, Frederick
300IH - Aaron Bedessem, Bangor
4x100m - Cuba City
4x200m - Fennimore
4x400m - Melrose-Mindoro - I'm not sure whether to be excited about writing this or not, it should be a pretty good race to watch though
4x800m - Brookfield Academy
LJ - Ben Hertrampf, Fennimore - I know there are three Edgar jumpers ahead of him but I don't know enough about any of them to pick. I looked at Regional results and the best of them only went 20' so I'm not sure what to think
TJ - Patrick Lemmer, Edgar
HJ - Jon Griffin, Racine Lutheran - Watch for McCann from New Lisbon to make it interesting
PV - Bryan Klister, Lena
Shot - Jeff Reichling, Darlington
Discus - Austin Kaiser, Marathon
