Well here we go. Most likely Cuba City will be #1 and Oostburg will be #2 as it should be. But who is next since alot of the top programs over the last few years have lost alot to graduation

Think you have to start looking at the urban privates like Hope School and Heritage Christian in Milwaukee....

Interesting that Heritage Christian's successful coach, Terry Bennett, does not appear to be returning. Kiel Hoek is now the girls head coach? What happened to Bennett?

Also, I see that Mike McGivern left Calvary in Menomonee Falls to coach boys at Heritage Christian...

McGivern wasn't the HC at MFCB though, and besides his kid graduated last year...probably freed things up for him. HC should actually have decent boys and girls' squads this year.

I wouldn't put HC and Hope (especially this year) up there with CC and Oostburg, and even Amherst, who still will be pretty solid as they've built quite the program there.

Oostburg and Cuba City have very talented teams. Other teams to watch include:

Osseo-Fairchild
Neilsville
Shoreland Lutheran
Lomira
Newman Catholic
Fall Creek

With some returning size and athleticism, Racine St. Cats could be a surprise.

Newman has dropped down to D4 this year. And on a related note, Flambeau has moved up from D4 to D3.

Lets just say that Bennett was ethically challenged. While I wouldn't necessarily call HC an urban school being located in West Allis he was bringing in a lot of girls from the city. There is also a lot of money that supports HC from wealthy donors and families that attend there and Bennett was doing too many things on his on. HC did what they needed to do.
They will not be that good this year as super soph Johnson transfered to WF Bay Dominican.

Is the Bennett kid a player there? Or there might even be two now? Maybe they're not in high school yet.

Lets just say there was a philosophical difference between Bennett and Administration.
HC will not be as good as some think because Soph guard Johnson transferred to WF Bay Dominican. No where close to a State caliber team.

Predictions are fun. They mean nothing and we will have a better sense of where things go in mid-January.
