The Brewers get the back end of the Cubs rotation this weekend. After getting lit up yesterday, Rob Wooten gets sent back to Colorado Springs and Brandon Kintzler comes back to Milwaukee. Also Sunday is Hank bobblehead day at Miller Park. The Brewers marketing team could sell ice to eskimos as they have milked every single nickel out of the Hank phenomenon. The pitching matchups:

Friday, May 8 Jimmy Nelson (1-2, 4.03) vs. RHP Jason Hammel (2-1, 3.73) FS Wisconsin 7:10
Saturday, May 9 Kyle Lohse (1-4, 7.01) vs. LHP Travis Wood (2-1, 4.40) FS Wisconsin 6:10
Sunday, May 10 Matt Garza (2-4, 4.58) vs. RHP Kyle Hendricks (0-1, 5.61) FS Wisconsin 1:10
If you want to drink all day, you have to start in the morning.

Don't get me started on Hank, or Carlos the cat, or Maggy the Mouse, or Pete The Repeat Parrot, all who are supposed to have bobbleheads in Milwaukee this year. It's great what they are doing for the Humane Society, but enough is enough. Maybe Hank can sniff out the crappy play, isolate it, and get rid of it.

I'll be going to the game tonight to see Kris Bryant in action for the first time. Not going to make it to Sunday's game (I already have a Hank bobblehead) but Mother's Day is for my mom and she's not too big of a Brewers gal.

I'm going to the game on Saturday night with some friends (and the first time that I've been to a night game at Miller Park or County Stadium). As for the Brewers, which team shows up will decide if they take the series from the Cubs.

I'll be at the game Saturday as well... Wouldn't surprise me to see a 10-8 final with Wood (I can't hold a 5-0 lead) vs Lohse (I give up a TON of HR's) on the mound.

With that said, it will probably be a 4-2 game... [afro]

Just got back from the game. My friend and I ended up getting Section 111 tickets (face value of $58) for $20. I went through the brewcrewball twitter account and bought them from a couple who were Cubs fans. They were great to talk baseball with and recently moved to Milwaukee for work and try to catch the Cubs whenever they're in town.

I don't know what Scooter was thinking when he threw the ball back into the infield after the missed barehand throw by Herrera, but that happened pretty much in front of us. Exciting finish to the game having the tying run on 2nd after Braun hit the 3-run HR. Was really hoping to see Bryant hit his first MLB home run.

The way Lohse has been serving up gopher balls, odds are pretty good he gets off the snide on Saturday...

Brewers pounding the Cubs, 11-4, thru 5 innings. Jason Rogers just hit his 1st MLB HR, a pinch-hit 3-run shot. Parra, Segura, & Davis also with big nights at the plate.

Brewers Sign 3rd Baseman Chris Davis:

Well it was about the only thing Cubs fans had to cheer about last night.... That and the Brewer fan up in 426 getting hauled out in 'cuffs in the third or fourth inning...

Lineups for BobbleHank day:

Cubs
1.CF: Dexter Fowler
2.3B: Kris Bryant
3.1B: Anthony Rizzo
4.C: Miguel Montero
5.RF: Jorge Soler
6.SS: Starlin Castro
7.LF: Chris Coghlan
8.SP: Kyle Hendricks
9.2B: Addison Russell

Brewers
1.CF: Carlos Gomez
2.2B: Scooter Gennett
3.RF: Ryan Braun
4.1B: Adam Lind
5.LF: Khris Davis
6.SS: Jean Segura
7.C: Martin Maldonado
8.3B: Elian Herrera
9.SP: Matt Garza

What does Jason Rogers need to do to get some starts at third base? Ramirez doesn't play the entire weekend and Elian Herrera starts in his spot all three games. Also Scooter Gennett and his .260 OBP should not be batting second. Your best three hitters should bat 1st, 2nd, and 4th. Segura would be a much better option over Gennett.

Actually make a clean throw to first after he fields the ball would probably help!!! He looked like a high school third baseman in his start against the Reds!!!!
