What is up with him, he can't hit a bull in the butt with a scoop shovel, pretty soon the pitches will be batting ahead of him . maybe he should go down til he can start hitting with runners in scoring position

He'd never clear waivers.

Trade Hart, Escobar, and a player to be named later for JAKE PEAVY!!!

I think we've already seen the peak of Corey Hart's career, unfortunately...

If Peavy didn't want to leave San Diego for Chicago, why would he come to milwaukee? Ok, maybe hoffman can pull some strings. Although i don't Peavy (with that no trade clause) getting traded at all unless it's to an almost sure fire world series winner (for instance, if he went to the red sox or someone with a huge division lead at the deadline), Why would a pitcher, pitching in petco park, pitching against the national league west and living in San Diego want to leave to play in the cold midwest? I know he wants to win but, as they say, be careful what you wish for because he's got a really sweet deal out there for a pitcher (can you think of a better place to thrive? petco park, playing against the national league west, and living sunny San Diego? pitcher's paradise).

we all know that Corey/JJ and a few others on this team are about the streakiest hitters in all of baseball...when Hart goes on a tear I'm going to come back on here and say..."I told you so"

because in baseball theres always the next at bat...it is a game where everything evens out...theres a great chance Hart could go on a tear and he would be more valuable to the team then someone we would trade for him...and probably get low balled...I'm not saying I think he's the greatest ever...I think he isn't an all star outfielder either...but he's still a very serviceable outfielder and has all of the tools to be successful...

While they are both streaky, JJ does not have such a glaring hole in his swing as Hart does (Low and away slider, obviously). Harts scouting report probably says just one single thing: Low and away. Its ridiculous, and I think almost every team has that figured out. With that, maybe some team out there thinks they can fix that... If they seriously think that, I think Hart holds a lot of weight in a trade as he is a average defender with great speed, and above average power.

Cory Hart may never be an all-star but his hitting has won us some games either in the middle of the game or in the clutch. Reports are now saying that Hart may be traded for a starting pitcher. It better be a Trevor Hoffman skilled pitcher if we're gonna give up clutch hitting.

Hart is already an All-Star...

And I think Melvin has already said he's not shopping Hart.

That could be said for just about every person who has ever stepped foot in an MLB batter's box...lol...

I'm still at a loss for why a 6'6" guy only knows how to use his bat in half the strike zone...Hart could make a living off serving pitches into right field (and the using his legs for hustle doubles), but he almost never does...

I guess when you hit home runs that benefit the team it doesn't matter which way you hit the pitch. Just as long as the hit helps the team score in any way possible.
