Hayward earns at least a share of the conf title with a 42-24 win over Bloomer.

Bloomer won almost every stat catagory, but Hayward forced 5 turnovers, 2 for scores. Bloomer ran 80 plays for 540+ yard, over 320 on the ground while holding Hayward to 49 plays and 280 yards. Bloomer failed to score on 5 drives inside Haywards 20 including a fumble by Morning on the 4 yardline, an interception in the end zone, and an interception that was run back 90 yards for a score on the game's first drive. Very impressive ballhawking by the Hurricanes. They were stripping and pulling on the ball all night and played a patient game and never turned the ball over. Bloomer fumbled about six or seven times losing two and had 10 or 11 penalties for more than 100 yards.

Bucky was Bucky carrying 35 time time 168 yards with 60 or so coming on one carry as Bloomer loaded up to stop the run and did OK for the most part making Hayward punt 5 times and turn it over on downs a couple more.

Very good game between two pretty good teams. Hopefully they both can go far in the play-offs.

Congrats Hayward, I'd have to say the main thing about Hayward that made them clinch a share of the title is that they are extremely patient, make few mistakes, and get the turnovers they need...in their games vs Chetek and Bloomer it seems that both teams should of beat Hayward but they made more mistakes and Hayward capitalized on those mistakes...congrats Hayward good luck in the playoffs

Chetek beat Barron fairly easily. It was close in the first half though. Hetke went over the thousand yard mark. Frazier had three tds i think. 2 rushing and one receiving. Haas had 6 catches for around 80 yds. Sanders had around 150 yds passing. I believe chetek held davidson to right around 100 yds passing and Monson was around 100 yds rushing. Johns had 1 catch. final score 34-6. Chetek did have some turnovers again. They need to sure that up in order to go deep into the playoffs. Congrats to Hayward also.
NEVER GIVE UP! DON'T EVER GIVE UP! Thank you Jimmy V.
GO DAWGS!!!

The game of football between two good teams usually comes down to turnovers and capitalizing on said turnovers. It sounds like hayward is going to go a ways in the playoffs with the style of offense and defense that they employ.
