Any thoughts so far?

It seems to be pretty similar to stuff he was doing on Late Night but with more goodwill from his audience. It's nice to have Andy Richter back though.

I've always like Conan better than Jay.

My favorite parts of Leno were Jaywalking and Headlines, everything else was pretty blah.

Conan is doing a good job I think, I like it.

Jay Leno sucked, inherited the dynasty from Johnny Carson and proceeded to crash it into a telephone pole.

I wouldn't say he "sucked" but it's telling that his funniest bits are the ones with no writing involved.

He's been alright, I'm too young to remember the previous Richter partnership but I don't like this incarnation of it. Andy seems a little too eager to jump in, I liked the understatedness of Max Weinberg.?

On a side note, Jimmy Fallon sucks.

The only good thing about Late Night now is The Roots.

I could not agree with you more. I watched a few times and it was if you could hear crickets chirping. His delivery is horrible. For instance, I do not think Dane Cook is funny but his delivery sells the jokes. Fallon just seems so stiff and not sure of what the heck to do.

As for Conan...I am not liking him. Granted I have never cared for him but I think with the Tonight Show his humor will take some time to get used to.

I have watched Jimmy almost every night and he has not been good. I don't really like the SNL-type shorts that he does (which are not funny at all), plus he can't tell jokes very well. It seems as if the audience is a little tougher though. For instance, if Letterman or Johnny would tell a bad joke, then Dave would just stare in the camera and it would get a huge laugh. Johnny would pull down the mic and ask if it was on. What I'm saying is that those guys don't need to say anything... They can literally just sit there and get laughs. Jimmy is not on that level and will probably never get there (if he keeps it up like this). He needs to stop doing nervous laughs every time a joke fails (which is a lot).?

I've been loving Conan. I didn't see Friday's episode but I am glad he hasn't changed his style or anything. Andy was too obnoxious/overeager to jump in the first episode but it seems like he's settled down pretty quickly and provided some funny backup lines. I'm definitely going to keep watching.
