Congrats to Heights and Sugar River. Heights pretty much had a perfect meet, so lots of props to them. That 4x400 was pretty intense and yasik ran a pretty good split. congrats to hillary hughes and peder orhlegge(?) on the performer of the year awards.

The coaches planned it out for us, and we did what we were told. Luckily everything went right and every one played their part. It came right down to the wire having the 4x4 team consisting of (Andy Yasick, Logan Brunner, Tim Michaelis, and Ryan Kalsow (me)) I'm not sure who ran for Sugar River, but their first 2 runners get great props they both ran nice splits. Yasick is a monster! It's also pretty sweet having two students from Heights taking the girls player (Hughes) and boys player (Ohlrogge). The first title for Heights since 1974 (35 years). We are all very happy.

Good job to the teams that showed up, and competing in one of the best sports created.

I wonder what the thought process was in creating this sport: Hey, I bet I can run around this oval faster than you and throw these objects further than you! Just kidding, just kidding. There is always some good ribbing that goes on between track and baseball players. I respect the heck out of track people.

On a side note, I CALLED THE CHAMPIONS!!! I'll find the proof in a little bit.

Edit: here is the proof. 2nd post on the thread. [link=http://www.wissports.net/Playground/tm.aspx?m=1016538]http://www.wissports.net/Playground/tm.aspx?m=1016538[/link] but if you read the 3rd post i said that the predictions were based off of me talking to other people. I guess I rained on my own parade there.

Don't worry we'll give you credit for it, but actually it was a tie which you didn't predict.
