Since there is no coaches poll this week, what does everyone think thier Top 10 teams are in the State in Division 1. A couple teams in the top 10 had some key losses this week out of state.

Well, usually when teams play out-of-state, they play pretty good teams. I don't think Milwaukee Hamilton, for example, is going to travel to North Carolina to play some pushover team. I guess we'll see for certain when the next poll is released January 5th.

I think the D1 coaches poll next week should go:

1. DePere 9-0...undefeated, brandon pritzl and a great supporting cast. Bayport showed the fox valley can contend.

2. Madison Memorial 6-2....as was stated they arn't going to play pushovers in Detroit

3. Milwaukee Hamilton 5-2....see above for rationale.

4. Arrowhead 7-1....costly loss to Wisconsin Luthern a D2 school. Still solid though

5. Madison East 7-0....Interested to see them play Sun Prairie, Verona, and Madison Memorial.

6. Antigo 9-0....Have played some tough non-conference games, to make up for the fact that they are in a D2 Conference as a D1 school, that is not traditionally strong.

7. Kaukauna 9-0.....Great team, from a great leauge.

8. Racine Park 8-0....Hope to follow in Horlicks footsteps from last season, and go to state

9. Sun Prairie 7-1...Win over Madison Memorial speaks for itself.

10. Milwaukee Washington

De Pere falls to Kimberly Saturday so that makes this #1 spot wide open. Great basketball being played in the Fox Vally/Green Bay area.
One of the least highlighted, yet most remarkable aspects of the NCAA tournament is its ability to purge the past...The water from the spring in Lourdes doesn't heal as effectively as March glory.

Wow, Kimberly really needed that after their trip to the WBY Shootout.
