Thats about as much of a Joke as him being State Offensive POY. This award should go to the "BEST" player on one of the "BEST" teams.

Football has no objective means of making those judgements like other sports such as wrestling or track. Who is the "BEST" is always going to be debated.

How many players from Wisconsin get offers - and an early one at that - from the Ohio State University. I can think of only a few off the top of my head - Josh Oglesby, Travis Beckum and Rhyan Anderson. tOSU is extremely selective about who they offer. They passed on players like Tyrell Sutton (who is having somewhat of an off year though). The badgers are happy as heck to get their scraps. There are also so many other tell-tale sign that indicate that this guy is not your ordinary, garden variety RB from Wisconsin. A lot of people that make their living by putting the best players they can recruit on the field think he is a stud.

Speaking of Rhyan Anderson, what is with his career at Miami so far? He has been a pretty big bust.

How well does Olgesby move? I've seen him on tape, and he looks like a specimen, but that's it. Brooks is massive and moves incredibly well, he just needs to work on technique. Is the gap that vast?

He is very quick off the ball for a big guy. He is sudden and explosive. His run blocking really jumps out at you. I think if they were to have a footrace I would take Brandon Brooks though. Oglesby has good footspeed for a big guy. I like to use bell curve analogies to express relative standing on an attribute - and if there was such a curve for athletisim for OT prospects over 280 pounds - Oglesby would be well ahead of the curve and Brooks would be even further ahead. I think both these guys have a lot of room to physically develop and improve even further. They are both relatively young for their grade.

Chris Galippo will win it. Marc Tyler just broke his leg, and is out for the remainder of the season. It won't affect his status at all, he is still comitted to USC.

For Clay, his top 5: Wisconsin, Ohio State, Nebraska, Iowa, Tennessee.
The Brewers will finish 90-72 and earn the #1 WC berth.

Carlos Gomez will have a 30/40 season (HR/SB) and win a 2nd Gold Glove en route to an All Star selection.
