Thats why he was playing so bad.

No, he isn't any good. He's not terrible, but at the same time, he doesn't even hold a candle to his old man

It's a crime and a farce that he started over Major Applewhite at Texas...let alone made it to the NFL and is already a starter, it seems names go a long way in getting you a job in this world.

give him a chance before you start going out and saying he's an average quarterback bc he has the makings to be a good player. It's his second year as a starting QB, and next year he'll be a free agent, it will be interesting if the bucs bring him back or not. I think it is too early to say how good he will be, granted he won't be a hall of famer but it's too early to give a judgement on the kid. Plus look at his recievers, Joey Galloway, who has speed but is 93 years old, Micheal Clayton, who has been nothing but a bust since his rookie year, David Boston, nuff said, Ike Hillard, who was also a FL wr who was great in the spurrier, and ALex Smith, who is a good young te. THe other problem is Tampa doesn't have a line any where near as good as they did last year. I say if tampa does get #1 and draft Calvin Johnson and he gets more help around him then you can make a judgement, but from what I saw yesterday and how he played when he was injuried, he showed me he can play and has the toughness to be a good QB in this league.
