I have this marketing project, and I need to ask people a bunch of questions. Using a message board certainly allows me to reach out to a wider audience, which makes it more effective for me, and at the same time, not bothering a bunch of people with random questions face-to-face.

It has to do with HDTVs. You can either be short and sweet with your answers, or choose to blab, I don't care.
-----------------------------------------------------------

Q1: Do you own a high definition television? (If "no" skip to Q5)

Q2: If yes, what brand?

Q3: Do you own multiple HDTVs, why?

Q4: On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the most), how satisfied are you with your television(s)?

Q5: If you don't own an HDTV, what would it take for you to go out and purchase one?

Q6: How have you/would you go about getting HDTV information? Store salesperson, internet, friends/family?

Q7: If you were looking to buy an HDTV what brand would you put at the top of your list?

Q8: To existing owners, would you be loyal and buy from the same company again?

Q9: What would be the most important factor for you when purchasing an HDTV?

Q10: What do you wish were a feature in HDTVs? (or TVs in general)

Q1: Do you own a high definition television? (If "no" skip to Q5) NO...AFTER SCHOOL I WILL

A little more income...being a poor college student doesn't help much...I will definietly buy one after school though

Q6: How have you/would you go about getting HDTV information? Store salesperson, internet, friends/family?

All resources...a lot of internet...I have friends whose familys own HDTV's...maybe go into the store and talk to a salesman but I would probably buy it in store

Q7: If you were looking to buy an HDTV what brand would you put at the top of your list?

I'd ask for quality brands...Pioneer...Vizio...Sony...Westinghouse

Q8: To existing owners, would you be loyal and buy from the same company again?

Q9: What would be the most important factor for you when purchasing an HDTV?

Quality > Price...I will pay more for a quality product

Q10: What do you wish were a feature in HDTVs? (or TVs in general)

Smell-o-vision...but honestly I think a ton of my dream features are on it...rewinding/recording...maybe just uploading a dvd and having it stored onto your computer...maybe somehow taking regular vhs or dvd's and converting them to HD for you

hope this helps...being a marketing major I know how hard it can be to get responses!

Since this is such a short survey, you should set it up at [link=http://www.surveymonkey.com/]survey monkey[/link]. That way, it does the data collection for you. I believe anything under 15 questions is free.

Hope that helps a little... I just haven't bought a new TV in about 7 years, so I'm a little in the dark on this one.
