Columbus @ LL: Here again LL will be able to keep it close for awhile but in the end Columbus by 31.

Poynette @ Lake Mills: Poynette will not be able to shut down Lake Mills Offense. Lake Mills by 17. Look for a high scoring game here.

Luther Prep @ Lodi: Lodi does not look to be overly strong on offense. But will have enough to get by Prep to set up the show down next week in Columbus. Lodi by 16.

Marshall @ NG: Marshall seems to have a big struggle going on and I hear they are fighting injuries as well. NG with a running clock.

Belleville @ Waterloo: I think Belleville has a touch more talent. I will go Belleville by 9.

PE @ Cambridge: I don't know a thing about Port Edwards so I will go with the home team by 3.

I will stick with Heights by 21.

NOTE: Valley Christian backed out on Heights. WH gets a forfeit due to VC having too many injuries and thus, insufficient numbers. Unsure how that's counted.

Picks

Columbus at Lakeside Lutheran - Again, not the Lakeside of old. Columbus mustn't overlook the Warriors however....

Poynette at Lake Mills - Has the makings of a shootout.... but LM has the superior offense.

Luther Prep at Lodi - Lodi isn't quite as dominant as they were a year ago, still a big fan of them come playoff time. They'll do their part and win.

Marshall at NGM - I don't know what's hurting the Cardinals so bad, but it won't get any easier playing at NG.

Belleville at Waterloo - Hard to say on Waterloo, but Belleville appears to have more offense than the Pirates. Have yet to hear if a waiver is award for 2 win C-South teams, but Belleville would be a win away here.

Port Edwards at Cambridge - Taking the conference pick

Let me sneak my picks in here; standings hopefully updated tonight.

Columbus at Lakeside Lutheran: The Warriors will probably do like everyone else before them and put a few points on the board. Like those other teams before them, it won't matter. The only question is whether Columbus has a running clock before halftime. Cardinals by 40.

Poynette at Lake Mills: This game has the potential for tons of offense, where the last score wins - which is in praise of the Lake Mills offense, but also an indictment of its defense. L-Cats by 2.

Luther Prep at Lodi: The hosts will want to get guys some rest early in preparation for next week's conference championship. They'll likely be able to do it. Blue Devils by 28.

Marshall at New Glarus/Monticello: The Cardinals getting stuck with a running clock twice in a season? Yeah, it's on the table in this one - especially since it's on the road. Glarner Knights by 35.

Belleville at Waterloo: Not buying the Pirates going to 2-0 here; not selling the Wildcats possibly missing the playoffs after one disastrous conference game. Yet, at least. Wildcats by 6.

Port Edwards at Cambridge: Coin toss game. Any result here wouldn't surprise me; as such, take the home team. Bluejays by 1.

Wisconsin Heights at Valley Christian: Heights was blanked by a pretty decent Oakfield team. Valley Christian, ... not nearly as good as Oakfield. Vanguards by 36.
