Ersan and Sessions yes. CV no. I thought CV was really making strides and becoming a little more well rounded, would have like to have seen a qualifying offer at least. I wouldn't have over paid for him but would have been nice to have a shot to keep him. Thoughts.

Wow, I can't believe they didn't even shoot him a qualifying offer. That's kind of a slap in the face, what if nobody offers him good money and somebody gets him for 70 cents on the dollar?

Especially with the economy the way it is. Alot of people think the free agents wil get kinda low balled with their offers.

I like the move, with Alexander and LRMAM there you don't really need another SF and that is what CV is in actuality. They need a real powerforward who can provide more boards and defense in the lane.

Ha Twitter obsession is growing. Im not into it...yet. But im glad the bucks didnt take im Mbah a Moute will fill in for him and cost less, too.

Twitter is awesome. I don't tweet much, but the info I can get in 2 minutes from people I would never have gotten otherwise is awesome.

Interesting move. Hammond really likes Amir, me thinks.

Also, this is a future move. Word on the street is that alot of guys like CV are trying to hook 1 year deals anyway because everyone is looking for a payday in 2010.

I'm surprised the bucks didn't even try to protect him at all. There must be something behind it, but Im not too up with the NBA's way for FA.

I'm actually liking that we didn't give CV the QO. I think a lot of teams would have been scared off by it, thinking the Bucks will match a low ball offer so they'd overpay for him, but then I'd be afraid (waiting in terror actually, for those 10 days to pass) that Hammond would match. Or, if teams wouldn't have even gone near him, somebody would have offered him something (like the Grizzlies did for Josh Smith) and the Bucks would have to match a $4-5 million deal because it's so cheap. It would basically negate all the maneuvering they just did to get rid of Jefferson. This free agency class has some serious talent that the Bucks could go for and not many teams are going to be big spenders this summer. I like where this could go.

CC who do you find as realistic fits that the Bucks might go after?

I really don't know because it is still undetermined how much money the Bucks have. Will they keep Bowen and Kurt Thomas or buy them out? Will they re-sign Sessions? With the little money they could have and being realistic about free agents, they could go after Anderson Varejao, Josh Childress (highly doubtful), Linas Kleiza (although I think the Nuggets will re-sign him), Hakim Warrick, Joey Graham, Artest....I really have no idea. It'd be nice to have another player who is a borderline starter because I'm not sure where we're going with this. I think we'll see a whole new team come 3 months from now. It'd be tough to find minutes for Jennings, Sessions, Ridnour, Redd, Bell, Alexander, Bowen, Mbah A Moute, Malik Allen, Bogut, Elson, Thomas, Gadzuric...all guys who expect minutes and see that team winning.
